About

When I was a little girl, all I wanted was to run away and live in the woods. It didn’t work, but I never could fully shake the dream. It became firmly rooted when I lived on the street for a year and a half in my late teens, due to religious disagreements with my family. It sucked, but it was also quite the adventure. Being stuck at home doing the Mom thing has become frustrating this last twenty or so years.

For a while there, I did get to bounce around between New York and my home in Oklahoma, and it made my wanderlust flare up like mad. In the end, my muse ended up bruised and wounded, but I’m bouncing back. Hopefully, some travel is in my near future. In the meantime, I’m trying to explore my own home in new ways, trying to bring a little more adventure into my life.

By the way, I’m trying to use my writing to raise money to help spay and neuter the local cat colony.
